Nancy is co-founder of Swim, a creative leadership lab designed to create fearless leaders in the advertising industry and beyond. She and Swim partner Janet Kestin were Co-Chief Creative Officers of Ogilvy Toronto from 1998 to 2011. They led their office to recognition that included two Cannes Grand Prix, a Grand Clio and Best of Show at the Creativity Awards. She has judged shows including Cannes, Clios, CA, The One Show, D&AD and Effies, and chaired shows including the Art Director’s Club of New York, where she was their first female jury chair in their 87 years. Nancy was included in Creativity magazine’s Top 50 Creative People of 2008. In 2011 she was inducted into Canada’s "Marketing Hall of Legends" and in 2012, she was among Advertising Age Magazine’s 100 Most Influential Women in Advertising. She’s on the advisory boards of Creative Circus and Cape Farewell, an organization addressing climate change through the arts + science.
Nancy and Janet write industry advice column "Ask Jancy" on ad site ihaveanidea.org, and their Adweek book Pick Me is now a staple in advertising schools from Texas to Turkey. A new HarperCollins business book will be on shelves in ’14.
