Executive Creative Directors, Droga5
Originally from Germany and educated at Miami Ad School Europe in Hamburg, Alex and Felix joined Droga5 New York in 2011.
Since then, they have climbed the ranks and created some of the agency’s most notable work, including the celebrated Under Armour campaigns “I Will What I Want” and “Rule Yourself,” Hennessy’s cinematic “What’s Your Wild Rabbit?” rebranding effort and the successful global product launch of Pixel, a phone by Google.
“The Germans,” as they’re called at Droga5, have won more than 70 major international advertising awards, including two Cannes Grand Prix and multiple D&AD Yellow Pencils. They have been included on Adweek’s Creative 100 list in 2016, and were named Advertising Age’s Creative Director of the Year 2017.
Beyond advertising, they have partnered with director Bjoern Ruehmann to create the music video trilogy “FLORIAN” for German EDM artist Paul Kalkbrenner.
Alexander and Felix have also been guest speakers at Forward Vienna, Offset Sheffield, as well as at Google New York, Sotheby's, Princeton University and the University of Arizona.
